FAITH

FAITH LIFE

“Proclaiming Jesus Christ and His Gospel, and raising up our community where faith is lived, deepened, and celebrated.”

Faith at St. Patrick’s Catholic School

Service is an integral part of the student experience at St. Patrick’s Catholic Schools. All students gain a greater appreciation of community needs by collecting items to support community agencies. As students grow older, they become more involved in local efforts and extend their reach to support national and international causes.  Students and staff are proud to participate in a yearlong dress down day initiative to raise funds for Casa Hogar de Juan Pablo II, and orphange in Peru.

Each year, students collect food through our weekly food pantry collection.

Students have the opportunity to pray and worship the Lord in many ways:

  • Weekly Mass

  • Rosary Services

  • Morning meetings in gym
  • Stations of the Cross

  • Reconciliation

  • Grade level retreats

  • May Crowning

  • Liturgy and sacraments

Integration of Religion

Students participate in daily prayer and religious instruction. The pastors participate in the faith life of the school through the celebration of Mass and classroom visits.

Second-grade students receive preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist. Fourth, and Eighth-grade students participate in the annual Diocesan Faith Knowledge Assessment and score above the diocesan average.

By integrating the Catholic faith with quality learning experiences, St. Patrick’s Catholic School assists students with developing skills for becoming responsible members of our school, faith, and civic communities.
